St. Jerome Academy choir members are genuinely amazing an unwavering dedication and hard work! Their repertoire is nothing short of impressive, ranging from sacred hymns and Gregorian chants to Renaissance Polyphony and Christmas carols. And that's not all - they also master classical and 20th-century choral music.
The youthful choir's beautiful mastery of music is a highlight of our school and parish community life, especially when they bring their skilled singing to our Tuesday School Masses, First Communion Mass, Confirmation Mass, and the charming Living Nativity.
We not only practice beautiful art but also serve the entire St. Jerome Academy and Parish community by continuing to build a repertoire of beautiful music that will enrich the lives of the singers and those who listen.
Join us in growing your children's love of music!
Children who want to join the choir should be ready to commit to working hard and being dedicated to their fellow choir members.
Throughout the year, we will learn many pieces of music and also develop skills such as listening and blending with other choir members, following directions, singing in a healthy manner, forming proper vowels and enunciating, pronouncing different languages correctly, reading written music, and mastering numerous other fundamental principles of singing.
Choir membership may also be open to the children of parish families not enrolled at St. Jerome Academy. Please get in touch with the Choir Director for more information.
If your children would like to participate in a choir, please fill out the online Choir Registration Form linked below. Choir Registrations for the academic year close at the end of September.
